fab fall polish

I am looking forward to stocking up on some new fall polish. Gotta keep my mani fresh! Essie and OPI are my two favorite brands because they last so long, and I think they are worth the extra bucks.
Tip: I have actually found that it's cheaper to order my polish online off of Amazon or drugstore.com.

Michelle Obama's style

In honor of the Democratic National Convention (DNC) festivities, I wanted to do a post on Michelle Obama. She is one of my style icons, and she did not disappoint with her outfit for her DNC speech.

Take a look:

Michelle's dress was custom designed by Tracy Reese, but in true Michelle fashion she paired her pricey dress with cute (and less pricey!) heels from J. Crew. That is definitely a fashion DO!

 And, my favorite thing about her look for the DNC was her matching nail polish. Love, love, love it! There has actually been quite a bit of debate about the color of her polish, and MSNBC confirmed it was a gel polish by Artistic Colour Gloss Soak Off in "Vogue". polish
